Our Owls are ready to optimize safety, welcome and include, and lead and learn. Before coming to Overland, I have been a principal at Harriet Bishop and Gage Elementary and an assistant principal at Ben Franklin Elementary. I have also taught at Pinewood Elementary and worked in the district office for 23 years in Rochester Public Schools.  

Overland is a special place to me, as this is the neighborhood school for my family. I have two children that will be Owls this year. We have the opportunity to start something new at Overland, and we are looking forward to partnering with families in making Overland an amazing place. Our students will focus in on the OWL expectations of Optimize Safety, Welcome and Include, Lead and Learn. Our mission is that Overland Owls inspire each other to continue to grow into the best version of ourselves in a safe and inclusive community.
