Rochester Community Education partners with local organizations to provide opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth to have fun, be healthy, and envision possibilities for their future. Events are open to all youth entering grades 6-12, including LGBTQ+ youth and allies.
Summer is here and our event series is back! Join us for a summer of art, games, nature, food, and more! Details for each event can be found below.
Volunteers are needed for the 2025 LGBTQ+ Youth Summer Calendar. Volunteers participate in activities alongside youth and engage them in conversations.
Join us in a supportive group environment to discuss parenting gender-expansive kids.
Rochester Pride is a family-friendly event for all ages that celebrates local LGBTQ+ communities. You will find live music, food trucks, and no shortage of things to do. Stop by the Rochester Public Schools tent and say hello!

Have you spent hours watching nail art tutorials but never given it a try? This is your chance to explore the art of fingernail painting with new friends. This nature walk will take place in the scenic Lowertown Neighborhood, beginning at Goose Egg Park. You will learn about plants native to Minnesota and "seed bombing," a practice that can be used for environmental restoration. Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

What makes this meetup special is its intentional focus on creating a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ youth and adult volunteers to connect and have fun together.

Participate in a light-hearted baking competition inspired by popular TV shows The Great British Bake Off and Nailed It! Your team will be judged on flavor and design with the chance to win prizes. No prior baking experience is required.
Many adult volunteers are needed to make this event possible. We welcome you to volunteer, especially if you are already a star baker.
